Advanced Specialty Resins & Coating Solutions

Quality, consistency and responsible product development are central to CoatPro Innovations. We aim to maintain consistent product performance, clear technical documentation and application-focused customer support.

What quality means in this business

For a formulator, quality is not an abstract value — it is whether the drum you receive this month behaves like the one you qualified last quarter. Batch-to-batch consistency in solids, viscosity, colour and performance is what lets you keep a formulation stable and a press running.

That is what we work to maintain, and it is what our documentation is there to evidence.

Documentation

Technical data sheets and safety data sheets are provided for supplied products. Where a grade is under development for a specific customer, documentation is issued as the specification is finalised — we do not publish a data sheet for a product whose specification is not settled.

Safety data sheets are made available without restriction. They are safety documents, and gating them behind a form would be the wrong call.

Sustainability, stated honestly

Where applicable, product development can be guided by customer requirements related to regulatory compliance, VOC reduction, water-based technologies, UV curing and improved process efficiency.

Three of the technology platforms we work with have a genuine sustainability argument:

  • Water-based acrylic systems

substantially reduce VOC compared with solvent-based equivalents, and remove the solvent recovery and workplace exposure burden that comes with them.

  • UV-curable systems

contain essentially no solvent and cure with far less energy than thermal drying, while allowing higher line speeds.

  • Process efficiency improvements

    — higher solids, faster cure, fewer coats — reduce material and energy consumption per unit produced.

On compliance claims

We do not publish certification or regulatory claims that have not been verified for the specific product and the specific market.

Requirements such as food-contact suitability, REACH registration, restricted-substance compliance and migration limits depend on the complete formulation, the packaging or product structure, and the regulation applying where the product is sold. A claim made at resin level is not a claim that transfers to your finished article.

Where you have a compliance requirement, tell us what it is and which market it applies to. We will tell you what we can support with documentation and what would need testing on the finished formulation. That is a less impressive answer than a page of badges, and it is the one that will not cost you a recall.

Ask a technical question

Yes. Technical data sheets and safety data sheets are provided for supplied products. Safety data sheets are made available without restriction, since they are safety documents. For products under development, documentation is issued as the specification is finalised.

Food-contact suitability depends on the complete formulation, the packaging structure and the regulation applying in your market — it cannot be established at resin level alone. Tell us the requirement and the market, and we will state what can be supported with documentation and what requires testing on the finished formulation.

Through two technology routes: water-based acrylic emulsion systems, which substantially reduce VOC compared with solvent-based equivalents, and UV-curable systems, which contain essentially no solvent and cure with lower energy input.

We publish certification information only where it has been verified for the specific product and market. Contact us with your requirement and we will confirm what documentation is available.

Through controlled specifications on the properties that affect your formulation — solids, viscosity, colour and performance — supported by the technical documentation issued with supply.
